NO SAINT BERNARD SHOULD EVER BE IN A SHELTER
The Northern New Jersey Saint Bernard Club subscribes to the position
that no Saint Bernard should be in a shelter. Saints are people dogs and thrive when they
can be close to their people. Unfortunately Saints DO end up in shelters, for a variety
of reasons. People get a Saint and then find that it's too big, or drools too much, or there
is too much shed fur to clean up.... Whatever the reason too often our gentle giants
end up in shelters. One of the missions of this club is to identify shelter bound Saints
and match them with people who both have and will
devote the time necessary to care for a Saint Bernard.
If you know of a Saint that is in need
